Chemistry   Seminar Series

Department of chemistry holds weekly seminars  that  are intended to expose our students and faculty to various thought-provoking research works in the area of chemistry or related fields, and  provide us with the opportunity to meet with the speakers in person and learn about their ongoing research activities. It is mandatory to attend the seminar for the students enrolled in CHEM 381, CHEM 481 and CHEM 711.

Time and Location: All seminars are on Friday at 3:00 pm in 209 John. A. Peoples, Jr. Sci. Bldg  unless otherwise noted

Information for the students: The students are encouraged to give presentations, especially as practice talks for thesis work and conferences. If you would like to give a talk,  please call  Dr. Alamgir Hossain at 601-979-3478 or send an email at alamgir@chem.jsums.edu  to check the availability of your preferred date.
